BIO

&&Remi Mae is a native of rural western Colorado and began her singer/songwriter career in her early teens. She grew up in a family of music lovers, taught herself to play guitar as a source of entertainment and was playing local venues by the age of seventeen. Always feeling at home on stage, Remi Mae was not only given solo acoustic openings for local bands but quickly began opening for nationally known acts such as Shenandoah, Pat Green, Exile, Thompson Square, Cody Canada, Sunny Sweeney and Laine Hardy.

After some time of performing locally, Remi Mae realized that surrounding herself with like minded artists would nurture her desire to grow as an artist so she set her sights on the Austin, Texas area. After an opening for Cody Canada and the Departed in Grand Junction, Colorado, Canada offered her a job in New Braunfels, Texas and she soon made the bold move there.

The young artist now finds herself participating in open mic nights, song swaps, playing well known venues and festivals across Texas. In 2022 she did a short Colorado tour to help promote her now released EP that was recorded and produced at yellow DOG Studios in Wimberley, Texas. Her tour band included not only a rhythm section and guitar player from Texas, but Colorado members, as well. When asked what this first recording project means to her, Remi Mae stated “It is the beginning of a long road of self-expression”. It is important to note that all songs on this EP are originals written by Remi Mae, including one co-write with another Colorado recording artist, F.C. Westcott.

More recently in 2023, Remi Mae’s first song to be released to radio, “Washing Machine Song”,  peaked in the TOP 15  at number 12 on Texas & Red Dirt Country Radio! That song was off of her self-titled debut EP, which also made the TOP 60 Americana Album Chart, peaking at 57! She included a short Texas radio tour in her promotion efforts and was very well received by each station. Her newest Texas radio release will be a song titled “Classic Kind of Thing”, scheduled for a June 19, 2023 release, and watch for one more song to blast out to Texas Red Country Dirt radio near year’s end!

You can catch Remi Mae at local Texas venues from Dallas to Houston to the Austin/New Braunfels area. Check out her website, www.remimae.com, or her Remi Mae “Bands In Town”  account for her schedule and a show near you!

Remi Mae Music signing into mic with guitar

“There are plenty of musicians…but every once in awhile a young person steps onto stage with something special- something like innate talent, as if they were born with some previous knowledge that other folks must strive to acheive…Remi Mae is one of these rare talents, and her ascent into the music world has been nothing short of amazing.”

Stu Carlson- Staff writer, HCS

Remi Mae offers a melting pot of influences… It’s also hard to believe that on her debut EP, released earlier this year, (Remi) Mae has such a clear vision for the artist she wants to be and the influences she wants to honor, as she taps into various sounds and styles expertly through the duration of the EP’s six tracks.”

 Justin Loretangeli- ProCountry

“Remi Mae has been killin’ it y’all!! She’s legit.”
